What are assessment codes and how do I use them?

Assessment codes are used only for district assessments. Students cannot take teacher created or school-based assessments with an assessment code. Click here to learn how to use the assessment code to convert a school assessment into a district assessment.
Note: Assessment codes are only supported for grades 2 and up.

Step 1: From your homepage, click on the Assessment/Assignment Center.
Step 2: Click on Assessment Bank.
Step 3: The code for each assessment is located in the third column, just past the assessment name. Assessment codes are useful for referring to an assessment.
As long as an assessment is assigned, students do not need assessment codes.
