Horizon Education Transition: Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Updated by Mackenzie Maddox

General Overview

Q: What is happening between Horizon and Progress Learning?

A: Horizon Education is merging with Progress Learning. The Horizon platform will transition into the Progress Learning platform to streamline access, improve scalability, and provide expanded instructional features and content.

Q: Will Horizon continue to exist?

A: Horizon as a standalone brand will phase out. Users will log in at ProgressLearning.com, and billing will reflect the Progress Learning name. Some Horizon branding may remain temporarily within the platform during the transition.

Q: How do the offerings of Horizon and Progress Learning complement each other in supporting schools' academic and accountability goals?

A: Progress Learning focuses on providing standards-aligned practice and assessments for K–12, helping schools ensure students master state standards across all core subjects. Horizon Education complements this by offering content that helps schools meet additional state accountability measures, including premium ACT®/SAT® modeled benchmark assessments and ACT®/SAT® curriculum.

Platform Access & Accounts
