What's new in Progress Learning for the 2025-26 school year?

Every month Progress Learning sees new and exciting features being released that will enhance the learning experience for students, teachers and administrators.

  • Schoology Integration
    • What is it? We now integrate with Schoology. Have your district IT department reach out to Support@Progresslearning.com to get set up
  • Google Classroom & Canvas Sync Enhancements
    • What is it? Sync buttons were replaced with toggle switches for improved clarity and consistency. Sync status now appears upon saving.
  • District Summary View in Item Analysis
    • What is it? The new histogram view enables district admins to analyze performance across all schools without applying filters.
    • Where is it located? Item Analysis in Results Reports.
  • Progress Report Export on School Dot Rank tab
    • What is it? Added the ability to export data from the School Dot Rank tab.
  • Results Report Filter Enhancements
    • What is it? New filters must be manually applied; updates improve load efficiency and accuracy. 
  • Idle Timer Auto-Pause Feature
    • What is it? Automatically pauses sessions after 10 minutes of inactivity.
  • Update to layout for Elementary and Liftoff Products
    • The rewards information has been shifted to the left side of the screen for Elementary and Elementary Liftoff users, providing more space for key screens.
    • Liftoff for Middle School has also received a facelift to match the Progress Learning MS/HS product for a more mature experience.
  • Alien Avatar has been retired
    • Alien Avatar, previously featured in our K1, Elementary, and Liftoff products, has been retired to enhance the user experience and minimize potential distractions.
  • Assessment Builder Enhancements
    • “Discard and Exit” option added when you are exiting the Assessment Builder after starting to build an Assessment.
    • Added a new section for Build by Standard that allows users to auto-generate assessments based on question count and selected standards
  •  Quick Assign By Code
    • What is it? This will enable teachers and school administrators to use any assessment code and quickly create an assignment for the class directly from their homepage.
  • Bell Ringer Enhancements
    • What is it? Teachers can switch subjects directly on the Bell Ringer screen, refresh the list of questions.
  • Timer Accommodation Setting
    • What is it? Supports timer updates at the student level for those requiring accommodations for timed premium assessments. (ACT®/SAT®)
  • Pause Assessment Setting
    • What is it? Supports pause assessment settings at the student level for those requiring accommodations for timed premium assessments. (ACT®/SAT®)
  • Progress Learning Login Screen
    • What is it? Our ‘Login’ and 'Forgot Password' screens have been updated
  • Instructional Resources and Subject Selection
    • What is it? Moved all College and Career Readiness courses to a new College and Career Readiness section below High School. (ASVAB, AP Courses, GED, etc.)
  • SAT®/PSAT®-like Assessments & ACT®/PreACT®-like Assessments
    • What is it? A suite of full-length SAT/PSAT and ACT/PreACT practice assessments that includes comprehensive reporting and scaled scoring

Administrator Updates

  • Creation of Grade-Level Classes in the Class Filters
    • K–12 Grade-Level Classes have been added to enhance reporting. District and School Admins can now filter reports by using system-generated Entire Grade-Level Classes to view results for students in a specific grade.
  • Assign by Grade Level
    • Added the ability to assign by grade level for admin users with the creation of auto-generated classes for each grade level for an account
