As a School Administrator, how do I assign an ACT®/SAT® Premium Assessment?
This article addresses assigning the ACT®/SAT® assessment from the School Administrator dashboard.
Teachers should check with their school administrator before assigning an ACT® or SAT® assessment from the Premium Assessment bank.
As a School Administrator, if you do not want teachers to assign the ACT®/SAT® practice assessments, we suggest you lock them in the Assessment Bank, Premium Assessment tab.
Assigning the Assessment from the Assignment Builder
- From the admin dashboard, select Create an Assignment.

- Give the Assignment a name and chose from Premium Assessments in the subject dropdown menu.

- Once you've selected either the ACT® or SAT® test, the bank of available assessments will populate. Choose the assessment you want to assign by checking the box next to the assessment name. Click Save and Continue.

- Check the box next to the Class or use the Grade Level toggle to assign by Grade Level. Click on Save and Continue.

- Assign a Start and Due Date and set the Start and End Time for each activity (optional).

- Enable Proctor Mode if you would like students to take the assessment in full-screen mode and lock them out of the assignment if they attempt to leave the screen. You can also provide Live Monitoring Access to any staff member who you'd like to proctor the assessment in real time.

- Under Settings, select if/when assessment results will be released to students via the Results Release Options button. Press Save and Exit or Save and Add Notes. You can also make adjustments to the name of your assignment or the classes/students that will be receiving the assignment.
