Summer Rostering FAQs

  • What will happen to our existing accounts?
    • Existing accounts will remain for teachers. If the usernames shared for users in Clever or ClassLink match the current accounts in Progress Learning, the accounts will merge automatically. If not, we can merge any duplicate accounts created by the sync so that everyone has their data consolidated into the account supported by the SSO. You can find more information here regarding usernames and how to prevent creating duplicate accounts in Progress Learning.
  • How do non-teacher accounts get created and how will those users login? (Ex: Paras, co-teachers that are not enrolled in the class, specialists, admins, principals, etc.)
    • We will be upgrading to Clever v3 for the 2024-2025 school year. This will support non-teacher or staff/admin roles in Clever.
    • If they are not being shared in Clever accounts can be manually created for them in Progress Learning.
  • If you are migrating to a new SIS or sync service, please email support@progresslearning.com so we can guide you through the process.
