Progress Learning ACT®/SAT® Informational Resources
Technical Report on the New Enhanced ACT® and PreACT® Suite of Exams:
This technical document outlines how the new enhanced ACT and PreACT suite of assessments are formatted and scored in Progress Learning. It details changes to the format, including timing, item distribution, and passage lengths for the English, Math, and Reading Tests. Additionally, it explains how scaled scores are calculated using re-scaling and Conditional Standard Error of Measurement (CSEM) values. Finally, the document describes how Progress Learning has updated their benchmark assessments and scaled score charts to align with the new ACT and PreACT.
