What resources are available for SAT and PSAT?

Updated by Amy Brown

Starting in the 2023-2024 school year, the College Board will be administering the SAT and PSAT online in a digital format. We have everything you need at Progress Learning to prepare your students for the new test. Here is a summary of the resources we provide and some tips and tricks for ways to implement in classrooms.

Standards-aligned Practice & Assessments: As with all of the subjects in Progress Learning, we provide SAT and PSAT practice items that can be used in a variety of ways.

  • Assessments - Build your own assessments with our SAT/PSAT-aligned items through the Assessment Builder for SAT/PSAT Mathematics or Reading and Writing.
  • Assign SAT/PSAT-aligned practice questions, videos, or summative tests, through the Assignment Builder.
  • Students can access independent SAT & PSAT practice in their study plans.

SAT and PSAT Premium Assessments: Assign our new digital SAT/PSAT Premium assessments through the Assignment Builder. The following assessments are available for PSAT and SAT.

  • PSAT Mathematics: Part 1
  • PSAT Mathematics: Part 2 Lower Level
  • PSAT Mathematics: Part 2 Upper Level
  • PSAT Reading and Writing: Part 1
  • PSAT Reading and Writing: Part 2 Lower Level
  • PSAT Reading and Writing: Part 2 Upper Level
  • SAT Mathematics: Part 1
  • SAT Mathematics: Part 2 Lower Level
  • SAT Mathematics: Part 2 Upper Level
  • SAT Reading and Writing: Part 1
  • SAT Reading and Writing: Part 2 Lower Level
  • SAT Reading and Writing: Part 2 Upper Level

Target completion time should be 35 minutes on each Mathematics section and 32 minutes on each Reading and Writing section.

We recommend starting with an Assignment for Part 1, then assigning Part 2 Upper Level or Part 2 Lower Level based on the chart below. This chart is appropriate for SAT and PSAT Practice Assessments.
