How does a teacher see results and assign remediation on an assessment that was assigned by a School Administrator?

Updated by Gayle McKee

When a School Administrator assigns an assessment, they have the ability to customize the settings. As long as the Administrator has allowed teachers to view assessment details, the teacher will be able to see a results report and this help doc will go over two ways in which teachers are able to pull that report.

Finding the Results Report from the Assessment Bank

Navigate to the Assessment/Assignment Center

Click on the Assessment Bank

Click on the Full Assessment Bank tab

Optional: Click on the black circle to use filters to find the assessment for which you are looking

Look in the Results column and click on the blue number

You will be able to filter your results by individual class

The Student Dot Rank tab will show how each student performed on each standard assessed.

The Completion Status tab will indicate how many students the assessment was assigned, how many students have completed it and how many are pending completion.

The Item Analysis tab will give you a breakdown of results in a question by question view.

The Assessment Mastery tab allows you to see results aligned to our colored rating system.

The Student Attempts tab allows you to see scores for each student, what date the assessment was completed and how long the student spent on the assessment.

Finding the Results Report from the Reports menu

Navigate to Reports from the side menu

From the drop down menu, select Activity Results Reports

Choose the Results Report

Select the filter for the Subject. From the Assessment Type drop down menu, select Shared Assessments

From the Assessments drop down menu, select the name of the Assessment for which you want to view resutls and then click on Run Report

Assigning Remediation for assessments that were assigned by a School Administrator

Navigate to Reports from the side menu

Click on the Progress Report

You must fill out the following filters:

  1. Subject
  2. Class (you must select one class at a time in order to assign remediation)
  3. The date range that the test was taken
  4. Toggle only the Assessment/Assignments box (do not include Study Plan Practice)
  5. Run Report

From the Class Dot Rank tab, click on the colored dot beside the standard for which you want to assign remediation

This will open a box that allows you to set a start and end date for the assignment. You must tick the box next to the names of the students who you want the remediation to go to (or select all). This list generates only the names of students who have not mastered this standard. Click on Assign

From the Student Dot Rank tab, you can click on any colored dot beside a student's name and assign remediation for that particular standard to that student only
