Using ACT®, PreACT®, SAT®, and PSAT® Resources in Progress Learning

Progress Learning provides ACT®, PreACT®, SAT®, and PSAT® resources for student practice and assessment. Teachers add the appropriate subjects to their classes, allowing them to view reports and giving students access to those subjects in their Study Plan. Administrators use a separate subject area to assign Premium Assessments. Use the information below to determine the appropriate setup for each grade level.
ACT® and PreACT® Resources
Progress Learning has been named a Preferred Test Prep Provider of the ACT® test. Official ACT® content is labeled Licensed ACT®, and the remaining Progress Learning content has been updated to align with the enhanced ACT®. Older resources are labeled prior version.
Teachers: Add the appropriate ACT® or PreACT® 8/9 subjects to your classes. Students will then see those subjects as options in their Study Plan.
Administrators: Assign Premium Assessments from the separate ACT/PreACT (Premium Assessments Only) subject.

2026–2027 Licensed ACT® Premium Assessment Release Timeline
To help you plan for testing this year, the current release timeline for the licensed ACT® premium assessments is:
- ACT® Assessment #1: Available now
- ACT® Assessment #2: Estimated release date in September 2026
- ACT® Assessment #3: Estimated release date in November 2026
Assessments #2 and #3 will be published after Progress Learning receives the newest items from ACT®.
SAT® and PSAT® Resources
Progress Learning SAT® and PSAT® content has been updated for the 2026–2027 school year. Older resources are labeled prior version.
